Anthony Wexler

Anthony Wexler is a world-renowned climate scientist. He is director and founder of the University of California Davis-based Air Quality Research Center, a $13 million a year research institute that measures air quality, carbon and pollution for the leading environmental organizations in the United States and California.

Professor Wexler is also the founder of the Climate Adaptation Research Center and co-founder of the Climate Solutions Advocacy Institute, which works to promote renewable energy legislation. He is the Chief Technology Officer of f EV Everywhere, a tech licensing start up focused on mobile battery charging solutions.

Wexler is a UC Davis Distinguished Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Land, Air and Water Resources.

His research has focused on the health effects of aerosol particles in the atmosphere depending on how those particles are transported and transformed. He specializes in the impact that a changing climate and massive fires have on our environment.
